You’re not my maker,
So you can’t give me help.
But I have no problems
That I can’t fix myself.
Well, I’d like to believe
Such things anyway.
So bring in your counselors and psychiatrists,
And let them talk on, tell me, and say
That I have this disorder
And I should take these pills.
But I ridicule the medicine that hides personality
and how a person really feels.
So I’ll carry on with my craziness.
And you’ll let it erk and bother you.
But I’m just being me, and that scares you to shits.
But what the hell are you going to do?

Will you treat me like a patient
Or a prison inmate?
Are you gonna say I’m down and depressed,
Or too hyper and can’t concentrate?
Are you gonna come find me; track me down?
Then kidnap me and force the bizarreness out?
Or maybe you’ll torture and torment me
Until inaudible are my screams and shouts.

You’re efforts are futile.
I can’t be forced to change.
There’s nothing you can do.
I’ll forever remain strange.
Let the peculiarity stay.
Let the berserkness remain.
You can say I’m unwell.
You can say I’m insane.
But there’s only one word for myself,
And that’s unique.
And if you have an issue,
The easiest thing to do is keep away from me.
